1969
Truck Spare Parts
In 1969, it started its business as KOYUNCULAR TİC.KOLL. ŞTİ, selling truck spare parts. Later, in 1974, it became the TOFAŞ ARTVİN REGIONAL DEALER, and in 1976, it continued its path by adding the Goodyear dealership to its structure.
1983-1986
First Step into Transportation
In 1983, we took our first step into the transportation sector with Karakaş Trans, a company we established at Hopa Port, after observing shipments being made to Iran. We continued our operations by adding six ASSOC trucks to our company, and in 1986, we became a Petrol Ofisi dealer.
1997
Insurance Agencies
Continuing these activities, in 1997, in addition to our Tofaş dealership, we entered the insurance sector under the Koç Group umbrella, becoming an agency for Koç Allianz Sigorta A.Ş. In later years, we expanded our group of companies and added Güneş Sigorta A.Ş. and Finans Sigorta A.Ş. agencies to our organization.
1999-2000
Growth in Different Sectors
In 1999, we established Koyuncuoğlu Construction and Industry Inc., and began operating in the jewelry, tourism and hotel sectors, and LPG gas stations. Later, in 2000, we expanded into Bridgestone tire dealerships and automobile sales under the name Koyuncuoğlu Inc.
2002-2006
International Transportation
Our company began its operations in international transportation in 2002 by establishing Koyuncular International Ars. Nak. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. Initially adding four Volvo vehicles, our company increased its fleet by February 2003 and, on February 11, 2003, received a C2 Authorization Certificate from the Ministry of Transport, thus becoming a member of the TIR Carnet system. By January 2004, our company had expanded its fleet by adding six new vehicles, bringing the total number of vehicles to 20.

Growth and Leadership
Later, our company expanded its focus in the transportation sector, became a member of RODER, and, by receiving the RODER "GLOBAL" guarantee, became a leader in transportation in the region. As Koyuncular Group of Companies, we further expanded our scope of operations and made the necessary investments to increase our vehicle count to 30 by March 2006. As a Group of Companies, our goal is to be a leader in all our current areas of activity.
